About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Your blog is having the same effect, it makes me want the lifestyle and setting you have! (Maybe with more lie ins...)

Oh, my, I remember that summer. We were in Birmingham and it was soooo cold!

No time for reading these magazines now I have discovered blogging, although I have enjoyed wading through yours. They are certainly full of lovely ideas, I just wish I could afford it all. I rather fancy a nicely kitted out beach hut. The sun is shining here at last! x

Good news Lucy - new editions of Country Homes and Period Living are due out today or tomoorrow. Hurrah!

do you mind if i knit

'All set for baking day', was photographed in the place I'm going on a course this weekend! I will definately be blogging about it!!!!!

I love your tablecloth and potted Germini - very summery. I have changed over to my Summer tablemats which was a Big Mistake. I may have to change back - but that would be like putting the heating back on.

I couldn't agree more, this weather is just AWFUL! I too love looking through magazines and finding inspiration for (or if!!)when the weather gets better! I wore my flip flops yesterday in the rain and I have now found out the hard way that they get very, very slippery! Kathy

Inspirational magazines do me a world of good on a miserable damp afternoon like today. Thanks for sharing yours!
