About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Very cute! Your Little Man is quite an artist!

These drawings are just so precious! I can truly believe you will treasure them for ever.

I have enjoyed going trough your latest postings, as it is a while since last time. I really like you style and the granny blanket is just gorgeous (I also love the one your Mother has made). Your ripple is also coming along nicely, as is mine too, actually, and I really love crocheting with all the pretty colours.

I have all my daughters little notes and drawings in a box. For years she wrote to her fairy every night, leaving the piece of paper under her pillow. Of course I was the fairy and had to write back in very tiny writing, and sign each one with her fairy's name which was Lily Lilac! My daughter is 13 now, and I still think she believes Lily is out there. The only trouble is, my daughter is now still awake when I go to bed, which makes it impossible for me to secretly slip a fairy reply under her pillow! Ah long gone days, so special!

Adorable, I too love the children's artwork and have them displayed across a beam in the kitchen like a large piece of bunting! Memories. Kathy
