I am soooo glad you do not think one can overdo ones affection for roses. And that you are a Green Gate fan too. Thank you for your nice words about my blog too, much appreciated!

G'day Lucy, those roses are just lovely. I almost spent GBP10.00 at the Laura Ashley shop, I just stopped myself at the last minute when I realised the conversion rate to Aussie dollars. Phew!

You really don't have to reply to every comment, it can be really overwhelming when you get a lot of comments and then feel you must respond. Most people don't expect a reply. You could try a generic reply which can then be cut and pasted into each email saying something like "thank you for dropping by today and for leaving such a lovely comment", that sort of thing. I reply to comments once a week, usually Saturday morning, and if I have a lot I will write a nice generic thank you and if I have more time I will write a personal one, but only if I have the time.

Your blog is so lovely and you are so generous for showing us all the corners of your home. Keep going and remember that your spirit is SUCH an inspiration to me and others.

Hello!!!! Thank you for saying hello on my blog. Do you really think I should make some mini quilts for sale? Hmmmm...would there be lunatics out there to buy them? You know - I think I'll give it a go!
I always think twice about roses too - they flop quickly and I think 'well, I could have got 3 billion daffs for the price of 3 of you'...but they are gorgeous. I like the prickly stems (what does that say about me, eh?!)

And can I also say - your granny blanket is AMAZING, I am mucho jealous, and the alcove cupboard shelves - I am actually a shade of green right now. I dream of an alcove cupboard shelf thing.

Oh, and I am in the gloriously sunny (cough, splutter) Wakefield. Well, kind of squeezed in between wakey, Huddersfield and Barnsley to be more precise.

Your blog definitely gives me the feel good factor. I visit nearly every day as I know that you will put a smile on my face. So thank you!

Wow, what beautiful roses -adore the colours it is a wonderful photo. Love the paper roses too. Lovely idea for your linen cupboard. I have a friend who has the most wonderfully smelling, tidy and beautifully folded linen cupboard and we went to Cornwall last week and she opened her suitcase and yep, it was beautifully ironed and folded. My other friend's was, well, just a mad scoop up from the (unironed) ironing basket shoved into ikea bags! And me, someewhere in the middle! Kathy
