Morning folks, Friday again. Can't say I'm sorry to see an end to this week, life under the Attic24 roof has been a little bit limp and full of germs. The Little People and I have all had colds the past few weeks, nothing major but oh dear me, dealing with children's snot day in day out can take it's toll. I've now developed a hugely irritating cough which has put a serious strain on bedtime relations (I was almost banished to the attic to carry out my coughing the other night), and Little Lady has gone one better with a full blown chest infection. So I have spent all week administering anti-b's and trying to keep her soaring temperature under control, it's all been quite exhausting.
Today thankfully she is back at nursery and I have just come back from my weekly Friday morning jaunt round the market and shops. Actually it was more of a weary trudge than a jaunt today.
But I did manage to bring home some remedies to help recover my health :: the sweetest smelling narcissi, the tastiest dark Divine chocolate and my weekend magazine treat. I'm loving the magazines at this time of year, it's all very spring-like and optimisitic. Gardening articles, and double page spreads showing sunny picnics and tea-in-the-garden. Today here in my part of the world it's grey with a biting cold wind, but I am all prepared for a cosy afternoon of coffee, chocolate and daydreaming.

I feel for you having a cold yourself and the kids to look after. You know it could be worse... your husband could be sick, heaven forbid :)

Hope you're all feeling better soon!

It is very grey and miserable day here today and I am feeling under the weather. You have motivated me to go out tomorrow and buy a lovely bunch of scented flowers, some indulgent chocolate and a good quality magazine showing hints of summer. Thank you.
