About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married, stay at home Mum with three young children. We live in a 100year old Victorian house in the North of England which we are slowly renovating, and here I spend my days :: mothering, decorating, crocheting, baking, sewing, crafting and gardening. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world. xxxx

Very much looking forward to making this one. I've loved it ever since I saw it on your blog :) I've written a big thank you to you on my blog for getting me started with crochet and for inspiring my big not-stripey-just-plain blanket.

This is one pattern I was definitely looking forward to.

Val

Good morning Lucy! I want to say a HUGE BIG THANK YOU for doing all the hard work in making this tutorial. I have been hoping and waiting for it to come along :0) I have just finished my last stripe for my Granny Stripe Blanket ..... but not looking forward to all those ends! I do so love the blanket though.
But my BIGGEST AND HUGEST B I G T H A N K Y O U!!! is that you have given me such joy and pleasure in rediscovering crochet. I learnt this about 30 years ago now, but limited myself to cotton doilies - which a house only needs so many of and have long since gone to a charity shop ..... So my crochet skills lay dormant ..... until ..... one fine day ...... I discovered ...... attic24! Now I am rejuvenated and can't wait to start this new project. May you have a wonderful, beautiful weekend with your family, flowers, food and crochet ..... happy hooking!
love and best wishes,
Val xx PS sorry it is such a long comment!

Terry
