About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Thank-you, thank-you... Now, my birdies won't look so...well,... crippie. The correct beak will help...he-he... saying nothing about my strange wings. Now, I can move ahead with all the circles I have waiting.

You are the best.

Dodo

Just lovely. I do like your colours. Instructions so good. Am making the birdy but used a big hook. Will use smaller one for a robin. Have just found your blog. Super

OMG! Your birds are the cutest thing I have seen in a long time! I think I am going to have to learn to crochet, just so I can make these. At the moment the only thing I can do is make a very long chain snake. LOL!! But I have a friend who is very talented and I'm sure she will show me how.

 Kate

This is such a wonderful tutorial, it is so easy to follow and the end result is adorable. My husband has now asked me to make him a brown chook to hang in his car. Thanks so much for your generosity. XX ps you can check my birdie out on my blog.

We had a "big" snow here this weekend, considering we are in the Southeastern US, and I spent the whole time working on crochet inspired by your work. Thanks for the fun times!
