About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Morning Lucy. With all that build up, focus and then the attendance... I'm a bit deflated myself - still smiling of pure amusement from ear to ear - and with time the post Yarndale symptoms will clear up and we'll get back to our own selves. It was a great pleasure to meet you in the flesh. SO appreciate you squeezed me in to all your obligations. Big recovery hugs and kisses. Until next time... (she smiles even more...)

Take care of yourself, my dear. I'm so glad YD went so well for you and everyone. I look forward to seeing your photos of the event. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Hi Lucy! Yes, Yarndale WAS amazing and it must take so much out of you so now take it easy & let your body & brain recover. Those photos look like you are enjoying some gentler days, you really do live in a beautiful part of the country so I hope that your surroundings can help you feel much better soon. Take care of yourself,
Helen x

You are the most generous person with all your readers so PLEASE just take the time you need to feel better, I hope it is not a lack of iron again??? sometimes that really does sneak up on a person. A lot of introverted/extroverted people have to take time off just to BE and recover from being with so many, so Happy Pottering, will look forward to all the loveliness from Yarndale and your lovely life. take care from Iowa, USA

Jenny

Take care Lucy lots love Jenny from Cornwall xx

Arlene

Lime and sea salt chocolate. That will make you feel better for sure.

Love the blues and greens in that flower of yours.

Rest and get back at 'er when you can Lucy.

Lucy, after the hectic time you have had, no wonder you are so tired. Get plenty of 'me' time. We will all be looking forward to your wonderful photo's. 😘🇦🇺

Take as long as you need. You have given a treasure chest of lovely creative ideas...I'm working on your Fall wreath and sending warm thoughts your way.

Caz

That's the problem with a big event....you can keep going till it's over and then you crash with every bug known to man. (The spouse of every teacher in the country knows their other half will go down with a bug day one of the holidays! ) Take it easy, rest up and recuperate and we will see you soon.

Jane S Godbehere

Take care of yourself first. We can wait for the details on Yarndale and that flower!

Winwick Mum

I think it's easy to underestimate how much an event like Yarndale takes out of you - all those months of planning and behind-the-scenes work on top of everything else that you do ... it's OK to take time to recharge the batteries and important that you do xx

@jeanthecreativepixie

Honey on toast and lemon tea helps me when I'm feeling unwell. Hope you're up to full strength soon. X

DeLynn

That flower and those colors!! Hope you write about it sometime and show us more pictures! :)

Charlotte.

Take care of yourself before anything else. The pictures are beautiful and we will be here when you recover. Yarndale must be a 365 day job from year to year. Rest up.

Cartie

Hope you are feeling more yourself soon, Lucy. We were talking about you at my crochet group today, saying how brilliant you are!

Tinke

Please do, take a lot of chocolate, cappuccino's and enjoy that pottering about. We'll wait here. Take your time x
