About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

I voted, good luck Lucy. I'm sure you'll pull in a few awards!

Wondering if there might be a book in your future... would be such a treat to have your lovely work and photos all in one place and in color.

Hi Lucy, I love reading about all the stuff you do and design.I read your blog posts like you read the country magazine! Quick look through first then save for when I can really peruse all the photos etc. (I'm a bit odd!)
Anyway thanks for sharing with us. Did you write up last year's owl pattern that you mention in this post? I'd love to make some. Thanks.

Lenore Rhodes

Hi Lucy, I love the crotchet heart key rings. Will you be releasing the pattern to us all after Yarndale? Great incentive, amongst all the other fabulous things happening at Yarndale, to pack the bag and hop on a plane. 😭 I have to wait until next year, can't wait. X

Well done Lucy, your articles look absolutely lovely. I'm definitely going to get the yarn bombing one, I'm always thrilled to find a bit of yarn bombing. Found some in Pembrokeshire last week, it made my day! I shall post my photos of it soon, you have reminded me. I always like to hear what you've been up to, so don't hesitate to put it on your blog, it really doesn't come across as self-promotion. It's just interesting to see your pieces. As you say, they are so beautifully photographed. And beautifully made as well. Nicely done! CJ xx

I love reading about all the things you do, and always look forward to seeing pics of your creations. Those key rings are gorgeous! So simple but effective.

You are a wonderfully talented designer, and it's a joy to see your creative ideas expand into all these new places.

Charlotte.

Just received this issue of Simply Crochet. We receive it a month later in the US.

I love the heart key rings. I'm going to Yarndale, so I'll look forward to getting the brochure.
