Beautiful! I wish I had the dedication for a project like this. After working in a Hallmark store for over 24 years I tend to visualize how certain things would look on a greeting card. Just a quirk I can't get over.
Right now I'm seeing some cute notecards or a framed print using your husbands great computer graphics!
There I go again!

Hilary Hahn

Wow! Very beautiful. I could never make this! Love the randomly strategic use of color too!

Tuula Maaria

Love this, all the colours make me happy just looking at them! :)

So beautiful! I'm not a huge fan of random colours (we Virgos like a bit of order!) but I love the colour wash effect 💙💚💛💜

It is simply stunning,
Totally love it.
And you put so much effort into these free tutorials, and your husband too, so a big THANK YOU!

Oh my gosh!!!!! That is just gorgeous!!! I'm going to have to give in and add this blanket to my list... still have Hydrangea to finish.. getting close to a finish on my daughters huge blanket... then I suppose I need to do that baby blanket as I don't think my niece will stay pregnant just so I can make this one first? lol but after that.... thank you so much for sharing your talent & bringing such glorious color into our lives! Have a great weekend,

Teresa Kasner

Bravo! It's gorgeous! I know you're going to finish it off with a world class border.. can't wait to see the final photos. Enjoy your summer.. we are having the perfect summer weather here in Oregon, USA! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Lucy, that looks amazing & the effect is so pretty. Your hubby made the PDF file thingy look like a quilt pattern I might do, but then how clever is he to be able to figure it all out. Well done. Can't wait to see how you do the border. Take care.

Wow! Just Wow!!!

Wow Lucy its beautiful, hopefully I can do it and you justice, I will certainly give it a go. By the way the Lemon shortbread went down a storm.

Seriously the most BEAUTIFUL blanket. It's just gorgeous. I could look at those colours all day long xx.

Lucy, it's amazing, the colourwash effect has worked perfectly, and clever J creating the graphic. Your eye for colour is wonderful, every one of your blankets is an absolute delight. I love the way you've joined as you go as well, that must be very satisfying. Another triumph. I shall look forward to seeing the border. CJ xx

This truly is the most beautiful blanket EVER!!! ♥♥♥ Your trademark is unmistakable Lucy ♥♥♥ Can't wait to have a fondle at Yarndale :D Sending happy hugs, Gez xx

Stunning. Like other followers was eagerly watching to see how it turned out. Got my pack of yarn. Looking forward to starting it soon.

THANK YOU> Wow! This is also still my favorite color pack (2 throws plus pillows and bags). I have begun and abandoned a similar color wash almost random granny square blanket in the past because I lack your sense of color and design. So I've been following along breathlessly hoping fingers crossed you would make this work. You have indeed! In spades! BRILLIANT. Crocheting commences this afternoon with my newest purchase of this set of yarn. THANK YOU for the brilliant charts and tips. Your husband is a jewel and please also let him know he's being blessed by crocheters around the world for years to come. INCREDIBLE job!

Oh Lucy <3 <3 <3

This is so gorgeous!! I love the way it turned out, the colorwash is lovely. It turned out really well. I'm looking forward to seeing what you design for the boarder.
Also, that image that J made is awesome! Worth printing and framing, I think! Then you could keep your lovely blanket on the wall too! :)

I just Love this, Lucy! The original pack is still my favourite, I made a blanket with it a couple of years ago, and love looking at it. It used to be up in a bedroom, but I eventually realised that instead of having to go upstairs all the time," just to have another look", It would make more sense to bring it downstairs where I could see it all the time, so it's now on the back of my sofa, where the colours give me such a thrill. But the Summer harmony lifts them to another level! entirely. It is fabulous, and I can't wait to see what you come up with for the border!

This is just so beautiful Lucy!! Can't wait to see what you come up with for the border. xx

Winwick Mum

It looks so lovely now that it's done, and I like J's computer-generated picture as well, although it makes my eyes go a little bit funny like one of those black and white optical illusions ... I'm sure those square are moving when I'm not looking :) xx

And each time you out-do your wonderfully creative, colour-washful self, Lucy. Thanks for the joyful insights you give us from the inside of your creative process. a rare gift that you continue to share so generously.
Yes, WOWSER!!!
Love and affection XXXX
