Would it be possible to get a hard copy of pattern for the Moorland blanket I was given the wool as a Christmas gift

Thank you
I have made two of your blankets in the past and was very happy

Barbara Bryden.

I am following your tutorial but wonder if you are going to eventually print a copy of instruction. My neighbour has made several of your blankets but hasn't got the internet so won't be able to make this one.
Thanks for all your lovely ideas and blog about the area I was brought up in.

Happy to have started this project. On row 10 after a bumpy start. Looking gorgeous. Good luck to everyone taking part

OK am sat here with yarn pack and hook at the ready. Where is the CAL please ?????

Diana

Hook at the ready, can't wait to start

Marie martin

Hi, also passionately waiting, hook ready to go, I wonder what time

Diana Lindoff

A little to start. Just made my first color Pack order and first time with UK yarn/wool.

Can't wait to start. I originally thought this was my ancestral moors of Scotland. But that's okay. These Moorland Heather's are beautiful.

Hope I am not asking a stupid question! Is there a Facebook page separate from your attic24 page for us to share our progress etc. I am all set for Friday!

Karen Sexton

I've loved following you and your fantastic work for ages. The colours are so beautiful! Question.... I am a complete beginner.... could you suggest something that I could start on? I don't even knit.. ☹️... although do sew. Karen

I'm loving the fact that your CAL uses less expensive yarn. I'm a fan of Jarrol DK which is 55% wool, and I've never tried 100% acrylic yarn, so I'm excited to give my first crochet project a go using it. Sadly the yarn pack colours didn't go in my room so I chose others, but they did remind me of being out on my bike in the hills of Aberdeenshire, very similar colours and similar beautiful landscape. I may also do some cushions based on your pattern, I'll see how I get on. I have more enthusiasm than skills just now x

I received my package from Wool Warehouse on Chistmas Eve, my present to myself. Looking forward to working on this.

Charlene

Lucy, I just received the package from the warehouse today. The yard is beautiful, soft, and the colors are gorgeous. I can't wait to get started. I was amazed it only took a few days to get from UK to Sunny Florida.

I have signed up to do the blanket, I already bought the wool, I hope you have patience, because I do not know much crochet and less English.
Hoping to start with a lot of desire, a kiss.

Zozie

I love this post thank you- it encouraged me that I can maybe do the stitches 😊
Will blog any progress at my new crochet section at

You didn't answer my question: what on earth can I do if my husband doesn't take the thousands of hints I've been giving him and get me this pack for Christmas - I just can not justify buying any more yarn to add to my enormous stash!!!!!!!

Audrey

Received my pack today from woolware house. Love the colours and something lovely to look forward to after Christmas.

Linda

Frustrating it might be to have to wait until January, I have put the time to good use and made a huge effort to use up all my leftover wool to make a cosy stripe blanket (third of the way through) and made 7 (yes seven) pairs of socks for myself and Christmas presents. Also having ordered one pack of the Moorland wool now decided to make a double bed size blanket for a 2017 Christmas present for my daughter so now have two lovely looking packs of wool already to go!
Cant wait!

April

I am so looking forward to this CAL, the colors in the blanket are gorgeous. Now all I need is for Wool Warehouse to put together more packs!

Debbie, Essex

I'm on the penultimate border row of my first ever crochet blanket (well, my first ever CROCHET, actually!!!) but am not confident enough (YET) to join in with your CAL.

Although it's sort of based on Little Cotton Rabbit's Misty Afghan, I was inspired to finally learn to crochet by your blog and your beautiful creations. I'm not brave enough to use colour like you do...but I'm working on it!

love

Two yarn packs ordered before Thanksgiving (in the US) and they just arrived two days ago. I've had to hide them away to resist temptation to get them out and play with them. I absolutely LOVE the colors in combination with each other!

Looking forward to starting this in January!

One question before the start...can we use the chainless foundation to start instead of chaining so many?

Jeanne

yarn on the way from woolwarehouse. Excited!!! I have been following you a long time. Love your work.

Linda Palmer

I ordered my yarn pack and am excited to make the Moorland Blanket. Do I need to sign up somewhere to be a part of the CAL?

Helen

For those wanting a natural yarn choice. The only superwash wool brand I can find with a big enough colour range is Cascade 220 Superwash (also available at Wool Warehouse!) This would make a super blanket but it wouldn't be cheap.

If you were happy with a delicates / hand wash, then Jamieson's of Shetland Double Knitting would be amazing. It's in 25g balls though so shop carefully. Again, much more expensive but it's the only yarn that is made completely in Shetland. http://www.jamiesonsofshetland.co.uk/spindrift-and-double-knitting-1-c.asp

Katharina

The kit is sold out. :( Will it be available any time soon?

Robin W.

Hi Lucy!
WOO HOO! I just ordered my yarn pack! I am soooooo excited to start this CAL in January. Looking forward to see everyone's progress and the sheer fun of it all.
