About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Thank you, found your chain count guide...probably the only post I did not look at to the end, thank you, looking forward to starting this CAL x

Sas Asher

Hi Lucy, I have searched your Moorland posts for you suggestions for chain counts for making this lovely blanket larger, I have been unsuccessful in finding these details, could you point me in the direction of where to find them?

Monica Blom-Schaap

Beautifull colours and I want to crochet, but I also can't the pattern. So please tell me where I can find it.
Greetings Monica

These are the perfect colours for me. I love them and have been looking for a new project. Your little squares and stripes have given me a little idea to do one of your autumnal wreathed as I go too. Thank you Lucy. Ordered my pack just now I already have some of the colours so I can begin when I find the link.

Happy New Year. Has there been a hitch or am I not looking in the right place,Lucy?

So excited to get started and be working with people from around the globe! But I can't begin without saying "Thank You, Lucy!" The amount of work you put in for all of us is phenomenal, and the quality of your tutorials and descriptions are excellent.Thank you! Thank you!

Jenny Turner

I bought my pack in November and have been looking at it every day since, I can't wait to get started. I've now ordered a second batch of yarn as I've decided to make a double size. Just logged in to see if the pattern is available yet?

Gaby Behrmann

Hi Lucy, many greetings from Germany. I will make your Moorland Blanket too and can´t wait for it. In August I was in your County and have seen the landscapes all around - wonderful! Thank you for the great design.

Ok so it has not long flipped over to the 7th here in New Zealand and I can't wait any longer, will check back in the morning and hope for a rainy summers day to make a start! Their are seven of us here all excited to start our moorland blankets

Susanne Gebert

Hi Lucy,I sit in Germany and can not stand it anymore.
I hope it goes soon, dear greetings Susanne.

Kay Butler

Really looking forward to this calendar. The colours are stunning and the countryside behind the design. Let the crochet begin!

Sharon Lyons

Looking forward to start, I'm going to work with a slightly different colour scheme ... but based on your wonderful moorland theme. I like in beautiful Switzerland, so I decidedly to design my own Swiss landscape version. I have my wool and hook and ready to roll. PS: I adore the moorland colour theme so I've ordered 4 packs! I'll use for another blanket or two. I ordered 4 packs as they were so "cheap" compared to the price of similar wool in CH, even with delivery and import duty this is a real bargain, thank you.

Carol mayston

Can't wait to get started today, amazing colours have inspired me to learn more and experiment with Tunisian crochet and play with textured yarns. Thank you for putting this project together . Carol
