Hello hooky friends....this is just a super-quick post to let you know that I have been working with my Technical Consultant (also known as J the Husband) and we have created a rather nifty PDF version of the pattern which can now be downloaded. I've written it as a standard pattern rather than the full blown tutorial, so it is six pages long and easily printable.

I've also had a lot of questions about the type of yarn to use for the Bower Bird....really any yarn can be used, but I think a fine, smooth yarn works best for this project. I've used a mixture of Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino and Rico Essentials Merino DK worked on a 3.5mm hook. Obviously, if you use a standard DK weight yarn on a 4mm hook, your bird will be born bigger!
