About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

P.S. Correction: 2,5 hook, so the bird is fairly dainty.

Nicola

Great pattern, thank you! I used a 3,5 mm hook and Scheepjes cotton which is shiny. The bird coloured itself as it's multicolour. Reminds me a bit of a Japanese nightingale. Hoping to make more!

Thank you for the pdf pattern of the bower bird but I am already stuck at the first row. Do you mean 6 DC into the first chain? How can I work them into a ring? many thanks

Generosity's definition includes a picture of you, Miss Lucy-Love. Many thanks to you and to your family for sharing so much of you with us each day/week. May the remainder of your summer vacay with the Littles be as much fun as these first weeks have shown themselves.

Thanks for the download! I'm anxious to make my own Bower Bird. So many colors to choose from!
