About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Good preparation is essential for workshops and one key to success. I am sure it will be one looking at all those lovely cakes. Have fun and good luck.

Sue

absolutely stepping out of your comfort zone is an awesome thing to do. Have a wonderful day, I wish I could be there but I live on the other side of the world.

Shirley Flavell

Have a great day with your "hooky" friends. I do wish that I could be there.Shirley N.Z.

Your colors are just beautiful. With all you have been doing to prepare, how can they NOT have a wonderful day with you? I teach knitting classes and always get butterflies beforehand - so worried that I haven't thought of every little thing and so wanting them to feel like they are getting their money's worth and having fun. I'm sure it will go wonderfully!(and I so wish I could have signed up and travelled from New York)

Nusch Eluard

You will be great and all will be well!!

Kim McCulley

Ahhh, so beautiful! I have a question for you, or anyone else who may be able to answer. I'm interested in this Stylecraft yarn you mention, and am considering purchasing it and having it shipped to me in the US. Here in the US, our bargain yarn is Red Heart. For anyone who has used both Red Heart and Stylecraft, can you please compare and contrast? Thank you so much.

Diane

What a feast for the eyes and imagination! Best wishes for a successful workshop!

Karolina

It is always good to tiptoe out.It may be scary but it is good.I cross my fingers for you!

Michele Boucher-Hines

My eyes were so delighted looking at all the wonderful yarn. Like Kim, I too would like to know if anyone knows the difference between Stylecraft and Red Heart and/or Bernat. I consider myself at the intermediate skill level, and just now working on my first pair of baby booties - hoping both come out the same size.

Wishing everyone a Wonderful time tomorrow - and a bit envious that I can't jet over to join.

Good luck Lucy, I am sure it will all go swimmingly. They cannot fail to have a good time in your beautiful studio, with all of that lovely yarn to play with. I have just sat here for a quiet moment looking at all of the wonderful colour and wondering which ones I would pick out. I'm in the mood for pinks today.
