A visual celebration of Everyday Life in the Attic during 2012. Enjoy....................
Ahhhhhhhh. Wasn't that good? Sixty Seven images that capture a year of ordinary days at home. It is my Everyday, my sweet, ordinary, uncomplicated life.
This is the last of my Year End Reviews, and by far my favourite. In fact I think this collection of photos is one of my bestest ever.
I love the subtle shifts through the months from January to December. I love that each image is like a little window through to a whole landscape of memories. I just love to be reminded how good home life can be, how wonderful the little details are.
I choose to live my days creatively and in full colour, with a huge dash of positive thinking. I celebrate the small pleasures and the little luxuries. I look for the happy stuff, seize it with both hands and enjoy it to the full. I tell myself daily how lucky I am to be living this life, and I am so grateful for all that I have.
With much love from me to you, I wish you a whole lot of Happy Stuff xxx
Ps..I've just been looking back through previous "Home Reviews" (this is my fourth), and I thought you might like to see them too.....

Wow - what a lot of fantastic photos. Home is very special!

I absolutely love this quote (and hope it is okay to use it sometime)..."I choose to live my days creatively and in full colour, with a huge dash of positive thinking. I celebrate the small pleasures and the little luxuries. I look for the happy stuff, seize it with both hands and enjoy it to the full. I tell myself daily how lucky I am to be living this life, and I am so grateful for all that I have." You do live that way and I adore the colorful life you live and think I may have to aspire to the same!

Lucy it is such a pleasure to share in your daily goings on of happy-ness and colour filled joy, you are truly an inspiration and it is wonderful to have a little window onto your world! However I do certainly agree with a previous statement you once made about yourself, and it applies to me too..... Both feet firmly in the bonkers camp!! :) God bless and thank you again for another year chock full of loveliness xxxxx

Dear Lucy photos that show how wonderful the "ordinary days" can be
throughout the year. I love the plants on the wall and the paving beyond the gate and the last photo so cosy and inviting. xx

I think the historians of the future would love to stumble across your beautiful record of family life for the SAHM in early 21st century Britain.

A very enjoyable look back on the year. I'm always struck by how often the same rainbow colours appear in your photos, even when no crochet or yarn is involved.
Happy New Year!

Beautiful photos but my favourite is the view you have. Wonderful rolling hills. The closest I have in Lincolnshire is a bump in the road! Have you ever thought about publishing a calendar? Take care x

Oh how lovely!! Now I tried to pick a *favourite* pic out of them all ... VERY hard but I think it would be the courtyard with the bunting and flowers. Too beautiful. Thank you Lucy!

Such a wonderfully colourful and warm home! Thanks for sharing the pictures. I love your fireplace. Is it wood that you burn? It just makes the last picture so perfect.

I have once again shared your blog address with a complete stranger. She (and the others) expressed a desire to learn to crochet and I thought your blog would be the one to inspire and instruct. Your tutorials are detailed and pretty to look at, and that isn't counting all your wonderful photos and the sharing of your energy and upbeat self.

I have so loved your end of year reviews. I love all the snippets of home life you post as well as your amazing hooky artistry. There is something about capturing in pics the gaps or in-between moments that would otherwise escape notice but actually hold the rest of things together. Loved looking back at your previous years' reviews too. Happy New Year, Lucy! Looking forward already to your review of 2013 - I know it will be full of colour, happy memories and good things! E xx
