Oh. My. Goodness.
I am almost hyperventilating with bubbly excitement over this year's festive crafting.
I feel so giddy about it all that it's honestly hard to concentrate on anything else.
My brain is filled with hooky, fluffy, shiny insanity, and there is no room for Anything Else.
Christmas present shopping? Costumes for the school play? Cards to write and send?
Why how can I possibly do any of those things when I HAVE TO MAKE MORE POM POMS?????????????
Speaking of which, I must now go. There are one hundred and forty minutes left before the school run and I need to fill those minutes with yarn and fluff. See ya.........................

Aaah, it's so nice to see you that excited. I started to make pom poms, too. And spotted the heart shaped pom pom maker Clover does. You'll have to try this one, it's A-W-E-S-O-M-E!

Cards write themselves, presents buy and wrap themselves but knotting needs a skilled and dedicated hand. That's what I tell myself anyway! Fiona

Stifling creativity when it's a-bursting is like King Canute trying to turn back the waves! And the amazing thing is you'll find you will have time and energy to do the other stuff when the creativity comes to a natural pause! But not before! So don't fight it, just go with the pom pom making flow. Can't wait to see the finished wreath in all its hooky and pom pom glory! I am making something similar but unfortunately wok is currently getting in the way of progress! Blissful creative minutes to you, Lucy! E x

"work" not "wok" obviously! E x

And I'm supposed to be working - not looking at your blog! :) Keep thinking of those super cute balls - could they have a tinkling bell in them too - and make a garland with snowflakes and stars? Maybe a bower bird too?

These are ideas for me to do - you clearly don't need any more and are more than busy enough for one person! Hope you are having fun. x

The wreath is beautiful!!!!! I LOVE IT! and would love to see more of it, full view. How I wish my thumb was not an issue, I'd be whipping out some yarn. Also, it has retro appeal and I adore anything retro. Amazing--I totally 'get' your giddiness.
