2012 in the Attic has been a colourful, creative, joyous affair, and I am hugely, unbelievably grateful for my happy, content life.
I have to tell you that I continue to write my blog "from the heart" and I hope that the genuine honesty behind all that I share comes across. I am most certainly a glass-half-full type of gal, I try to appreciate all that is good, try to enjoy my days as much as I possibly can. A happy, healthy life is such a gift! I turn over my numerous new calendars on 1st January each year and marvel at the huge number of days stretching ahead, and am filled with excitement....so many possibilities for each and every day! So much time to have fun, be creative, cherish our friends and family, enjoy the changing seasons, eat and sleep well.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support, encouragement, and friendship during this past year :: your words to me are so wonderful and I appreciate your visits to the Attic more than I am able to say.

Wow . . . so much loveliness and color. Wonderful! It makes me feel warm and cozy just looking at all of it as I sit here in the white, frozen northwestern US.
I'm really curious . . . where can I see more of the solid granny square blanket in the September collage? It's so simple, and so pretty. :o)

Nevermind . . . I found it. Just looked in the September archives. It's here, (http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/2012/09/granny-patchwork-blanket-.html), and I found the info on joining as you go, which is what I thought you had done, and couldn't wait to find out more. :o)

i have followed your blog for a long time i love all your projects and get so much inspiration from coming to the attic thank you for sharing all your hooky goodness with us (tho your yarn stash makes me jealous lol) i hope you and your family have a wonderful new year i cant wait to see what your hook gets up to in 2013 i'm off to continue with my first ripple blanket wish me luck lol :-)x
