Waking up on a gloriously sunny, bright Sunday morning....
....prompts us to head out for a stroll. We walk along the canal....
....until we reach the small beck. The reflections of Autumn are breathtaking.
Into the woodland we go, strolling in dappled shade....
....under a sunlit canopy.
The trees are still holding on to their Summer greenery....
....but the Autumn colours are slowly creeping in.
How wonderful to look up as I walk! Makes me feel so happy to be outdoors....
....watching my sweet family walk, run, chatter and laugh.
A moment of rest beside the pond....
....then a steep climb up out of the woodland to the sunshine bright fields.
♥ We did this beautiful walk through the woods just over a week ago at the end of October. It was such a glorious morning, so bright and beautiful and perfect for a Sunday woodland walk. I look at these pictures and they make my heart sing. So much good stuff. The Little People spent the whole time trying to catch falling leaves so they could make a wish. I can still vividly remember the sounds of their shouts, squeals and excited exclamations. It was the sound of joy ♥

Thank you so much Lucy!
Now my Monday has started with your buautiful photots!
Have a blissful week.

What lovely pictures! I love when the sky is very serious about being blue. No wishy-washy washout blue, but a good strong notice-me blue. How it sets off the golds, yellows, and oranges of the autumn leaves. Such clear, crisp colors...

Thank you for sharing this. We have beautiful woodland just five mins walk away but I'm afraid we haven't walked there since the summer when I was less like a lumbering elephant. Longing for baby to be born so that we can pop it in the baby carrier, Daddy can take the weight and we too can take a lovely walk like that. Fiona x

Absolutely gorgeous! Here in Maine, USA, the leaves have mostly all dropped, and it's COLD! I love the Fall, but it's very, very cold. And we've had a week with almost no sun. Supposed to come out today!
So I thoroughly enjoyed your sun filled walk...

Love the sharing of sunny woodland and leafy gold. Here in Norway the trees are all bare and the sky is greyish white in the short daylight we have. You have some lovely walking paths :) Take care!

Lovely - whereas this Sunday ..... our lane was flooded. No opportunity to go anywhere. A rare opportunity to do nothing!

I wonder what the Little People wished for?
We'll never know 'cos if you tell, the wishes won't come true.
Two of my wishes are about to come to fruition - I've finished my blanket with your bobble-shell edging (how neat is that?!)and I'm nearing the end of reverse of the blooming flower cushion
I started some time ago - yippeeeeeee!

Hey Lucy, it's been a little while since I visited and so glad I popped by to share this walk with you......
A wonderful time of year, so nice to have this beautiful countryside on your doorstep.
I never take for granted the beauty where I live, I know how blessed I am......
The Autumn reflections in the water really are stunning.......
