About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Thank you so much Lucy!
Now my Monday has started with your buautiful photots!
Have a blissful week.

What lovely pictures! I love when the sky is very serious about being blue. No wishy-washy washout blue, but a good strong notice-me blue. How it sets off the golds, yellows, and oranges of the autumn leaves. Such clear, crisp colors...

I love autumnal walks! The colours are so amazing. And walks by water are the best! Your photos (as always) are wonderful :)

cherish and store that memory away for the future...miss my 2 a lot and would love to hear that sound again from them....great pics by the way and it certainly didnt look like that down south yesterday, rained all day

There haven't been nearly enough of those perfect Autumn days for me this year. Glad you captured yours.

Cheered me up no end after the gloom and rain of yesterday!x

Gosh, your day looked much better than our Sunday, it was sooo cold and grey here, there was little specks of snow!!! Lovely photos!:)

Beautiful scenery. I love a perfect fall day. They're my favorite! I especially love them as a photographer because they give me the best backdrops!

What a beautiful place you live in, how lovely to have all those places nearby, thanks for sharing

Thank you for sharing this. We have beautiful woodland just five mins walk away but I'm afraid we haven't walked there since the summer when I was less like a lumbering elephant. Longing for baby to be born so that we can pop it in the baby carrier, Daddy can take the weight and we too can take a lovely walk like that. Fiona x

Beautiful photos! My children love walking in the woods, if there's mud and puddles its even better!!! Sarah

Wow, that's all I need to say.

Absolutely gorgeous! Here in Maine, USA, the leaves have mostly all dropped, and it's COLD! I love the Fall, but it's very, very cold. And we've had a week with almost no sun. Supposed to come out today!
So I thoroughly enjoyed your sun filled walk...

Love the sharing of sunny woodland and leafy gold. Here in Norway the trees are all bare and the sky is greyish white in the short daylight we have. You have some lovely walking paths :) Take care!

beautiful, Lucy, as usual! life enhancing! x

Lovely - whereas this Sunday ..... our lane was flooded. No opportunity to go anywhere. A rare opportunity to do nothing!

Lucky you! To live in such a wonderful rural climate. Wonderful pictures so full of sun. Nicole xxx

What lovely pictures, as ever Lucy. I feel like I took the walk with you - and I can hear their squeels of delight too!

I share your passion for such beauty! As always, you're pictures and descriptions just make my heart flutter and long to be in your part of the world- perhaps someday . . .?

I love bright autumn days like this, so cheerful with so many colours, just lovely and you have such a nice place to walk too

Lovely happy family family life, you are blessed to have such a lovely family. Thank you for sharing your lovely times xxx

magical. love all the colors. autumn is so beautiful.

Such lovely photography. It is such a treat to see this all.

I wonder what the Little People wished for?
We'll never know 'cos if you tell, the wishes won't come true.
Two of my wishes are about to come to fruition - I've finished my blanket with your bobble-shell edging (how neat is that?!)and I'm nearing the end of reverse of the blooming flower cushion
I started some time ago - yippeeeeeee!

Hey Lucy, it's been a little while since I visited and so glad I popped by to share this walk with you......
A wonderful time of year, so nice to have this beautiful countryside on your doorstep.
I never take for granted the beauty where I live, I know how blessed I am......
The Autumn reflections in the water really are stunning.......
