About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

How lovely. And the pin idea is perfect as the sewing in is always the bit we don't want to do. I have just finished reading your entire blog from the beginning. It's taken me weeks and I have loved it. Shed a couple of tears, giggled lots and really appreciated your sunny outlook. I have just finished my first ever crochet project, a granny stripe blanket, which I am ridiculously proud of. Now I've finished reading all of your posts I can actually get on with some new crochet projects! And I went to my first Knit (crochet) & Natter today. Thanks, Lucy xx

No words!! Simply fantastic, as always.

Here weather is kind of early summer, but we don't have those bright greens you have up at North. And next month this will be like hell, if you bet. But glad to se you have sun again up there.

The perfect wreath for attic24!!

Your colorful wreath reflects your happy soul. Thank you for your blog and all the sharing that happens there.

That is so lovely! For some reason the colours reminded me of Rosie and jim, the rag dolls that lived on a barge on children's tv in the 90s ... Very lovely xxx

I love your Ta-dah moments Lucy, and this little flowery colour fest totally deserves one - what gorgie hooky loveliness, its cheery colours have clearly helped to bring out that sunshine - well done you :o)

Brilliant! The pins are just the best idea - apart from the stripes, the colours, the flowers, the 3 pronged leaves - shall I go on? It's a wonderful Rosy 'Reath!

That is ridiculously beautiful!! What an imagination. XOXO

You are very clever. The whole thing looks lovely. And the pins, what a brilliant idea. Now, if only I could get some time.

Lucy is just marvellous!

Fantastic Lucy well done another masterpiece my dear, I think one of those would look lovely in my summerhouse. :)

So beautiful!!!
Love the colors, love your work!

Hi Lucy , WOW !! your wreath turned out amazing :0)
I LOVE the stripes wrapped round the ring....wasn't sure they would fit without puckering up on the inner edge.....should have had more faith !! they look just wonderful and I too would have been tempted to leave them . Your flower arrangement is just the icing on the cake though . It's another stunner.
