About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married, stay at home Mum with three young children. We live in a 100year old Victorian house in the North of England which we are slowly renovating, and here I spend my days :: mothering, decorating, crocheting, baking, sewing, crafting and gardening. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world. xxxx

HOHOHO. NO! Knitting needles! Oh, my dear - good luck. I am laughing because I have gone COMPLETELY crochet crazy. Seriously crazed. I can't put the hook down. I hook while I'm driving. No kidding. All because of this blog. But I used to do absolutely nothing else but knit.

Feel better soon.

Colleen

Rest as much as your peeps will allow and get better soon :)

Louise m

Good to hear from you! Nooooo!!! You can't knit because I don't know how and you're bound to make lots of gorgeous things and I won't be able to :( anyway...take it easy, nearly half term - can't wait for lazy mornings xx

Kate

Early night=good idea.I find the cold really gets to me now I'm on the way to 60.Snuggle down and get better, that's an order!

Renee

Middle aged! Are you kidding!!! You are the most youthful person around Luce! Its funny, I'm 43 but couldn't remember how old I was the other day (after the big four ohh, I stopped paying any attention!) Love how you called them knit sticks :)

Ellie

Well actually, I have wondered about you and knitting because I know you can as you have said. Also you taught your daughter how. So.... Anyway will be interested in hearing about your knitty adventure.

I'm off to bed with a hot water bottle too. It is very cold isn't it?

Knit sticks, ha ha. Nope didn't see that coming. Rats, I will have to practise. I'm not great at knitting. Good job I have talented relatives who will be able to help me. Hope you're feeling more perky soon.

Julie

You're not middle aged, you are a sprightly young lady.
Keep wam and cosy in the cold snap we're expecting.

Christina

I so hope you get feeling better soon. One must take some quiet cozy time for themself now and then. I AM SO EXCITED YOU MENTIONED KNITTING! Maybe you will inspire me to dust off the sticks after all. Crochet is my first love! xo

Pammyjo

Knit sticks ...omgosh. I'm freaking out. I do want to try knitting, but I admit I'm scared. Don't throw out your hooks. You are my idol.

Catherine

I'm having a give away if you are interested and it's in some of your favorite colors. Hope your fit as a fiddle soon!

Thomasina Tittlemouse

Really hope you feel better soon. You brighten so many days for so very many with your creativity & colour. Hope brightness and energy flood back for you very quickly. Keep warm & snug & let others carry you for a bit. I send you a hug. Elizabeth.

Christina

I also meant to tell you i have completely ripped out my ripple! Oh to start again!

lillypip

This weather would make anyone feel meh! You can cheer yourself up with the thought of me attempting the tin can covers tomorrow, wool wrapped round every finger bar the one it should be and the confuzzled look on my face as I take a biscuit break.
Take care, xx

Rebecca

Have a rest......your deserve it!!!!

Trish

Glad you are feeling a tiny bit better. Funny, after reading all these blogs I was wondering if I should do a bit of knitting too!! Not sure if I remember how. And I have so many hooky things I want to do!! No doubt you will inspire me to knit as well. Can't wait for the next post!! Take care.

Lynne G.

Louise
