♥
Such a cosy, stay-home Sunday.
A string of quiet, gentle, mindful activities.
Kitchen time and sofa time and Attic time.
Me time and Mummy time and Family time.
Full of everything and nothing-much.
♥
Edit to add :: I'm called Attic24 on Pinterest. I'm just beginning with it so my boards are only in baby stages. But Oh.My.Goodness. What fun!
Another Edit :: The banana bread is fantastic, it's a Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall recipe and can be found here. And I bought my gorgeous owl cushion from a local shop, but you can find them at Sass and Belle (prepare for The Major Wanties to hit. Be warned!)

Dear Lucy beautiful sunshine here today. A visit to my home town to visit my dad in the hospital and short trip to heavenly countryside! But what did I
forget to take with me my camera! Love your little flower garland.
Have a good week.xx

Ooh this looks like a perfect Sunday, well except for the slight underweatherness ( I made this word up I think) but snuggles are always a Mum's silver lining!
Mine involved a lot of masking tape, paint and The Gruffalo.
I still haven't quite braved a ripple yet, I self taught Crochet only 4 months ago though so attempting to take it steady (two blankets, and a cushion later)
You are such an inspiration,
Steph

I really enjoy pinterest to. The red garland/necklace looks like one that you have pinned there. I did a similar one from out of a Japanese book (one of the ones you have, I think it was just to wrap around a present in the book. I draped it all around my dressing table - I love it!

Thanks for sharing your lovely day. We're having a nice one too - I "Skyped" with our 2 granddaughters that moved 2000 miles away from us in September - for the first time. It was great to see the girls. And our 2 and 3 year old grandsons are coming out for a visit. And I'm working on my granny circle pillow.. you have been such an inspiration.. it will sit in front of my neat ripple blanket on our guest chair in our den. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I love slow, peaceful Sundays :) We had one this week too. It's summer here, so no socks and blankets for us! But it looks so warm and snuggly at your place x

Oh My goodness! You are finally on Pinterest! I confess I have a board for Lucy things. Love to follow you. Love that experiment on your hook so far. That lovely owl on the couch. And those carrots are so yummy, my tummy just answered back. Lovely post as always!

Hi Lucy , hope little B is feeling better soon. I've just been re reading some of your old posts from 2008......went back to look at your hexagon blanket and then couldn't tear myself away....so lovely . Your baking from back then inspired me to look out some of my cookbooks and I decided on a Banana, date and honey cake :0)
I've also been catching up with the washing and enjoying the sunshine flooding into the house....and trying to ignore the dirty windows .

I am so inspired by your colors and fun and creativity and especially the crochet. My grandma taught me years ago, but she's gone and I've forgotten. I took up knitting instead. After seeing your ripple afghan, I am 'hooked' (groan). I am starting a new colorful afghan inspired by your blog. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for your generous blog tutorials, ideas and patterns. I can't thank you enough!

It's a blessing and a curse that Pinterest! I started it about a week ago when my goddaughter told me I would love it. I think I'm going to need a 12-step meeting to get me off of it. I love it. The ideas it generates are fantastic. I found you and am "following" you. Pinterest makes us all sound like stalkers. I go under 'jdh' on my account as putting my name feels so exposing. It's not like Facebook where you can block people from searching you.
Hope your weekend was lovely and little boy feels better. We've been all battling bugs all winter long on this side of the pond as well.
xx
