About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Really cute and better than putting those tins in the recycling - lol ! Wow - just thought - you could use beans tins and lots of other things. Love it xx

How beautiful this is!! You are an artist, Lucy!!
Have a wonderful weekend!

OMG...so gorgeous! And...you could also use cat food cans...they come in a variety of sizes. Lord knows I have enough of those! Thanks for the creative inspiration!

These look so fun!! I wish I could crochet!!
Love your blog, not sure where you find all the time to make. I really struggle to find time for anything, except 'niblet'(he's just 2.)

Really cute, love the colors! For once, I´m chrocheting something with little color (grey and white) but after that I´ll go ahead with the colorful stuff again! :-)

From now on I'm eating only tuna. ;-) These covers are lovely.

So cute!! Now I've got to buy some bulbs and eat a tuna sandwich!

Cute! And just perfect for adding that little hooky touch to unexpected places.

Oh, how cute are these little "hooky" delights??!! I think we may have tuna sandwiches for lunch today :) Hey...I just thought of something...we have 2 cats so we have 2 cat tins empty every day...hhhmmmmm

so simple so happy!!

Lucy! Is there no end to your talents? Absolutely lovely. And of course the recycling of the tins is great. I've said it before, your blog ALWAYS makes me smile. Lovely, just lovely...
Mary :-)

These are absolutely darling! I was just showing them to my husband and telling him I need to keep more plants in the house. Those are just too cute to pass up. Thanks for the inspiration!

Adorable! I love the bright cheerful colors you use in your crochet! :)

I probably need a lot of these. I can't wait for your tut - little pretty bright things like this are right up my alley!

What a funny and lovley idea! I love your blog and wish I could crochet so good as you!

Everytime you have a "ta-dah" I have to go right up and try a part of your design.... Thank you so much for being an inspiration in the creative world!

Wundervoll & tolle Idee!
Ich habe gerade ein Muster, von dir gearbeitet und auf meinem Blog gezeigt.
Liebe Grüße, aus Deutschland,*Manja*

These are really beautiful and I never seem to find a plant pot saucer when I need one. Great idea. I must say though, I can never fully get rid of that tuna whiff so I'll definitely be trying the pineapple tins instead.

Oh how lovely, such a simple idea but so absolutely gorgeous.

You are so clever! I love this idea. I always look at those tuna cans and like how they are so short but never have an idea as to what to do with them.
As always, inspirational Lucy!

wonderfull idea -I love your crochets

Hello Lucy, lovely coats. It's a wonderful idea. I love your blog and put you in my favorits.
have fun, Marleen

Verrrrry nice, Lucy. I hadn't realised you enjoyed teasing us so much!!! I'm thinking: hairbands with wide, colourful elastic to hold them in place.

Gorgeous! I will just HAVE to make some of these!

I'm also desperately waiting for the instructions for that beautiful flower wall hanging :)

Ask your friends to save tins for you, so you don't have to eat all that tuna! ;)
