About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

What a fun clock! I could use one in the bathroom too...unfortunately I have a feeling that if I tried to hang a happy colorful one like yours I would have two little ones climbing (and very good climbers too) getting up wherever to take it down and play with the 'throwing balls' as anything round goes by here :-)
Hope you feel better!

I did that yesterday…night :)

That is the cutest clock ever & the new prints are so lovely!!!
Enjoy your early night & i hope you feel better soon.

ps The ripple is looking great

Love that clock ~ it's fab! Hope that your early night does you some good and that you feel better in the morning :O)xx

Welcome back three things! Your clock is lovely & who wouldn't want to go to bed early when you have such a cosy looking bed and all that lovely rippling to do! Hope you feel better tomorrow x

The print is fab, and very 'Lucy', i'm off search etsy & folksy now. Hope you're back to your usual self soon, the demands of a busy family can leaves us mummies a bit worse for wear sometimes! Wishing you a good nights sleep, take care, K xx

Three things I love too! Your crochet bed throw is so cosy and inviting! Lovely. Em x

Lovely. I read your blogs often, and just wanted to say thank you for cheering me up after a horrid day! You have reminded me to look around and be thankful for my lovely home and the things that make my heart go skippy skip too!

The Clock?.........Hot

I love your blog...and I have to say you have taught me how to crochet. : ) My mom never could (she's lefthanded, I'm righthanded) and your blog has helped me SO MUCH! I've been making snowflakes and granny squares and I just started crocheting last month!

Hi Lucy, thanks for your recommendation - Her stuff is gorgeous! Hope you feel better soon, Joey x

Loving the 2 blankets together - some blankets just seem to have a natural connection, and those 2 have it.

Also love your crochet bunting in the bathroom :)

Best Wishes

What a lovely clock. It looks great with your bunting. Sleep well xxx

Such a fun clock! I love all your colors! And, I need a clock in the bathroom... I discovered it in college and whenever I don't have one, it's quite disorienting-- I always feel late!

Cute clock! Hope you're feeling better. Love your "blanket" :)

The clock is cute!

Your bed looks lovely and cosy with your crocheted blankets as well!

I've been wanting to go to bed since about lunchtime too- is the approaching cold and dark getting to us? Snuggle well!

Sorry you are not feeling 100% but love the way you can still see the positives. I love your clock and your print. I have been rippling away like I am in a Rippling Marathon, I may be developing 'Hooky Elbow'!

I have been in bed mode since I got home - pj's went straight on and I got on the sofa with a blanket and soup! Love the art work - I love the peacock - it will be on my christmas wish list I think!

The Chocolate Cat

Oh I love that clock, I may have to get my sister to shop at Tesco for my Christmas gift!!!

Thank you for introducing Caroline. I just bought two of her cards with The Owl and the Pussy-cat. I recently taught that poem to my primary students and would like to show them how today's artists still get inspired by that poem.AriadnefromGreece!

All beautiful! ;)
Good week.

Oh how I do love that clock! The wanties are taking hold now, dear Lucy :0) Hope you feel better tomorrow my lovely.
Mo xx(hug)

Yay , I love your three things posts and this one is a great comeback :0)
Your clock is fab and crochet in bed sounds perfect...windy and rainy here right now.
Pondering on a ripple as I'm feeling inspired by your creation .
