About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Forth three minutes very well spent!

It looks really beautiful. Lovely photos.

Whoops, I mean forty three.

I would love to sit under the tree near the stone wall and read a book until dusk. Lovely.

Lovely photos, peaceful and happy times! If only my camera wasn't broken, I could show you some lovely flat land from Norfolk at the same time of day!!Equally sunny, but a complete lack of hills!!Beach was fab though!! Thanks for sharing some hilly landscapes with me!! (camera should be back in two weeks!!)

My husband & i visited with family today in cork, we got home a little while back after the hour & A half drive home, through the irish country side, looking at your photos is just like seeing the fields & late summer landscape of Ireland. They are absolutely beautiful snaps, England is a very lovely country!!!

How beautiful - and it looks like you've gotten some gorgeous weather. We're getting great weather here in New England as well, but our landscapes aren't so beautiful right now thanks to lack of rain. Hope the end of your summer proves relaxing and nice.

I would love to visit such a wonderful place like that. I can imagine sitting there with a cuppa and my crochet.

Beautiful photos, you live in such a lovely part of the country. Do you use a back pack to carry Little B? We're thinking of getting one for E so she can join us on our walks. At the moment we are limited to where we can push the pram. K xx

Thank you, Lucy, for sharing this beautifully lit landscape with us. How wonderful it must be to actually take an early evening walk there.

Absolutely gorgeous, can't say it in any other way... :-)

How beautiful! The pristine beauty is a balm to my soul. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful photos. After looking at all of your vacay photos...I think I need one!

BEAUTIFUL! I would love to visit your country!

Sigh. Such loveliness. All is darn near sere here. Thanks for making my eyes happy. They sorely needed a change.

So beautiful! We take lots of country walks here too but I always forget my camera. My husband wants to walk fast for exercise too, which makes hard to take pics & keep up with him. :o)

The light is so clear and sharp- beautiful! We had a very pretty evening here, the air was all pinky peach and the sunset sky very colourful.Made a change from rain...

Que lugar divino....deslumbrante mesmo....
