About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

I've missed hearing from you since your last post. Great to hear from you again and can't wait to see what you are up to hook-wise!

Hi Lucy - I have just discovered your blog - OH MY! What an inspiration you are! My hunt for a "not too granny" blanket project to make for my girls has lead me to your little Attic - and I have to say I am SO excited at what I have found.

I am going to have a go at making a hexagon rug following your great instructions (I actually managed a sample last night - amazing myself with the end result). I am rushing out today to get supplies so I can get started.

So I just wanted to say "thank you" for sharing your knowledge and love of crochet - thank goodness for the wonderful world of blogging!!

Can't wait! So glad you Mum is out of the hospital. Wishing you all the best. Barb

Åh,what exciting to see what you are chrocheting. The colors are super.Where can I see what kind of yarn you use? Wool? Greetings from Sweden.

First things first - so glad to hear your mom is home. Can't wait to see that "hooky" thing. Reading your blog has made me take out my crochet hook again and it is so much fun! I'm from one of the smallest states in the U.S. (Connecticut - but also very close to New York City), and I have never heard anyone refer to it as "hooky", but I just love the way that word sounds, so much more delightful than "crochet". From now on, it's "hooky" for me too! I'm going to spread the "word"!

Oooo how lovely that looks. And so teasingly tantalising too. But especially great to hear about your mam. I hope everything keeps on the up, up, up!

Love and stuff xx

I'm so pleased to hear your mum is home from hospital. I've been popping by to see if you had posted an update while i've been away. Can't wait to see the what the secret crochet is! x
