About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Even your crochet hook is bright and cheerful! Have you shown us your hooks before? Gotta love that polka-dotty grip.

i was going to comment about the wonderful hook as well - only to see someone beat me to it! where did you get it please?

Aren't littlies so cute when they nap :D Everyone needs ninety minutes downtime in their day, glad you got to make the most of it x

OMG, he has curly hair! How cute is that? I imagine that he is very cute.

I SO, THINK I KNOW.... Aren't they fun. Nothing better than a little nappie for a little hookie time. And let's not even talk about all the noshing going on too. Glad to see things are settling down some what for you. Miss hearing from you.

Ooooh, really looking forward to seeing what it is you have on your hook, from what we can see it's looking fabby!!

Ooooooooooh little one must be very sweet judging by that shot of him. Glad you got some me time. Looking forward to seeing what's on your hook. Love the hook by the way- mine are quite boring in the main but I do have some that belonged to my Grandma - she taught me the little I know. Anne x

Dear Lucy are you making a cushion? I am trying my best to guess!

Helen Jones

Oooohhhh I love it when a reveal is imminent! Cant wait to see what it is.
Interested to see the handle on your hook. I'm a fairly new crocheter (is that a real word??) anyway to continue, all I have are the bog standard ones. Are the ones with handles easier to use?
Anybody else got an opinion on this question?
Helen x

I hear you, Lucy! My little third one is about the same age as your treasure. I love those long naps I am occasionally graced with. But don't you wish our babies would come with timers? If only you knew how much time you were getting exactly from the start of the naptime then somehow you would feel more in control of your time....

Just a thought.

That is such a sweet photo! Oh I miss those days now my littlies are older.
Look forward to your Ta-dah.

Oh i do miss those times, sweet & unforgettable :)
That hooky project is looking waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too interesting :)

What a gorgeous pic!!! How scrummy he is with those curls! Can't wait for the big reveal! xx

Oh the joy of naps when the children are tiny, one can get so much done...now I'm older I occasionally indulge in the joy of naps.Don't get ANYTHING done...
