Just waving to you through the Attic window to let you know we are home again, helloooooo!!
I can't quite find the words at the minute to describe how completely amazing our week away has been, it makes my heart soar just gazing at these pictures and remembering it all. I think it was possibly one of the most precious and perfect family holidays we have ever had, and I am so looking forward to sharing it with you....just transferred my photos from the camera to the laptop (242 of them) and have spent nearly an hour just drinking it all in and sighing with pleasure.
However....soooooooooooooo good to be home again too!! Of course number 24 is in complete post-holiday chaos, it's quite the mad house here at the moment. J is still home with us all this week (fab), kids go back to school tomorrow for all of two days before we embark on another 4-day holiday wkend (Royal Wedding + our annual Waterways festival + May Bank Holiday), so normality won't really return here until 3rd May.
I will post again as soon as I am able (hoping for tomorrow actually) to begin telling you the sun-drenched tales of our time in Dorset, looking forward to it hugely.
See you soon! xxx

I love the pebble photo - it's beautiful! Welcome home and I look forward to hearing about your week :)

Lovely photos :) I'm so envious that you already have spring time. It is only just appearing here in Rochester, NY and is being battered by thunderstorms, hail and the occasional snow shower.

Yipeeeeeee!!!! So glad to have you back. So far, it's looking and sounding like the perfect holiday. As you can only imagine, T.G.B. is too, getting excited for the big Royal Wedding over here on this side of the pond. You know I've been known to be up in the middle of the night here to watch all the Royal English events. Yes, that's 3am my time. Lordy, I'm going to be making some strong coffee in just two more days. I must have some English blood in my past. Ok, I could go on and on, but I know what vacation cHaOs is all about. It took me a week to get back settled in here.
You would be the BEST, for taking the time to just check in today.
I soooooooooo, look forward to seeing all 242 pics.
TTFN,
You know who, bug-ga-boo

Fab photos - aren't we lucky to have had such a sunny Easter. Of course my old Dad would have said "Well, you've had your summer now you know" - ha ha! And aren't we lucky that we can take hundreds of photos and then get rid of half of them! Imagine that pre-digi....

Hello,
I have been reading your blog for a little while. Just had to say I love your sense of color snd the way it is displayed throughout your home. I knit but don't crochet However, if I did I would want to crochet nothing but vibrant, wonderful, cheery colors like you do.

Aah, same upside down household as us, the washing machine is still churning the holiday out of the boys clothes! We also had a wonderful sun drenched break too - lovely photos, look forward to hearing more :)

hi
Been browsing through your blog, its fab!
Quick question... was looking at your little flowers pattern - where did you get all the wonderful buttons?? I thought the box was Cath Kidson, did the buttons come with it???
Thank you
