I just found this Draft post sitting all forlorn and lonely, I completely forgot to publish it along with my other reviews at the end of last year. Did I ever mention that I am perhaps a touch forgetful from time to time? Hmm yes, possibly you already know this to be true.
Still....forgotten for a few weeks, but worth waiting for I hope.
So special, this little ritualistic peep out of the window at the top of our house.
I love it very much.
It connects me to the seasons, the weather, the countryside, this pretty little market town and my place in it. My home.
It's where my heart is ♥

Such a beautiful look back....it's so lovely to see the changing seasons, that's why I love living in Melbourne...we can have 4 seasons in one day!! Thanks again for sharing. Vicki x

What a lovely post and very representative of the weather we had last year - particularly August which wasn't the heatwave predicted!

I am so glad you 'found' this post ...it is my favourite! To my mind, views are the important part of a home. It is the thing I look at first if I visit someone. I have a beautiful view too which is very different from yours ...a green tropical view with many varieties of colourful birds - rosellas, cockatoos, lorikeets etc.

A wonderful idea. It's so nice to see the March shot after the two pictures of Winter - it would be lovely to see the brighter days now!
Posted by: Louise | January 09, 2011 at 09:51 PM
Ok. I had to go back and re-read the first part of your post... see what I get for... ahem... skimmin? I thought you climbed up on the roof to get those shots...
(embarrrasssinnnnggg... blushes) Of COURSE... it only makes sense that A24 got those shots from the ATTTIC! Dang it. I'm not usually that dim. Usually.
Have a blessed day!

When I was a little girl,60 something years ago, I loved to read books about England. Your pictures are just what I imagined how the little villages to look. I thank you so much for all that you do to make mine and others lives so much more colorful and crochety. As my Aunt used to say "you will have many diamonds in your crown in Heaven". BTW I am an American!

You're so lucky to have such a wonderful view out your attic window.

Love your attic window views and all the colourful posts you just shared with us over the last few days. I think Tic Tac To has a wonderful idea. Make some calendars with your photos. You could make an Attic view calendar, a connievan vacation calendar, and a crochet calendar and sell them to all of us!
