About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Lovely, cheery, colourful post.......thank you, just what the Dr ordered x

There is something so sweet about baby feet!
Hope you all have a lovely Easter Lucy.

lovely post! I love those little cute baby feet!

What a great review of the month, so bright and pretty. Those tiny baby feet grow so quickly, enjoy them. Sitting in the garden with tea and cake and a beautiful little baby sounds really nice. Here's to more springy days.

Happy April to you x

I love tiny toes! One of my most treasured posessions is the casts of my kids feet when they were tiny. Lovely cheerful post, i love the spring issues of magazines too, everything all new and fresh. I wish we had a window like yours in our attic, we have a lovely view but i'd have to stand on a chair and stick my head out of the velux to photograph it, then would probably fall and end up in an ungainly heap on the floor lol. K xx

What a timely post! ;) Very sweet pictures today. So glad you're having time to return to us avid readers these days! :)

Beautiful pictures!

I love april - everything comes to life again (plus I have my birthday during this month, which is pretty nice too..!).

Love, love, love the wee little toes! One can never get too much of that. :)

Even at the end of the month, sharing the calendar pages is appreciated. Have a beautiful Easter with your family!

Hello again, what a lovely cheery post, you have cheered me up and made me look forward to the rest of April. I love the baby blanket too - gorgeous and worth all the hard work.
Please keep posting often as you can its a breath of fresh air. Barbs

Ahhh... better late than never! Great post filled with baby toes and happiness! xxoo

Lucy, I found your blog at the end of last year while searching for crochet instructions, and now eagerly anticipate the glimpses of life at Attic 24 that you share. Your blog and posts bring such joy. Thank you for the sunshine you spread upon the world. A kindred spirit...

Don't feel too badly about being late to post about March because I was happily reading along and was going right along with it BEING March until you pointed out that it wasn't. Ha. I guess all moms are a little behind on such insignifigant things as time.

Oh those feet! I love your attic views - it looks like you live in a storybook.

Those toes are so sweet and nommable! I love the crochet blanket in the bottom of the bossy calendar.

Loving the baby toes and all the springy goodness of this cheery post!
Happy Easter too!

Baby feet make me smile.

And the view from your attic is looking springy!

oooohh those cute little piggies!!! (both kinds) ;O)

I love the view from your window too! I am also so happy you are adjusting to the change of having a new baby. I have posted pictures of our mountains on my blog as well,,,and I never get enough of the view either!

LOVE baby toes and chubby fingers mmmmm mmmmm mmmmmm... and those are some serious rolling hills magic :)

your hill view is simply gorgeous and I was so taken aback last Thursday when I saw the sun fall on the ones behind the station!
Your calendar posts are now recaps rather than start-of-the-month posts, nowt wrong with that ;)
Enjoy your Easter break (perhaps you'll even get some hooking time to yourself as well).
Lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxx

You have the BEST calendars! I'm lucky to get a freebie from the insurance company with cheesy nature scenes on it. :-)

And I love the baby feet! Reminds me of how soft and sweet-smelling they are. Now, when my 10 year old takes his shoes off, he can clear a room. LOL

What a lovely post, it has really cheered me up!! Thank you xx

Anna-Karin, Sweden

I just love the photos of "those little toes"! Gorgeous!! Remember when my boys kicked their little socks off, just like your beautiful little baby boy!

Have a lovely Easter-weekend!
Love from Anna xxx
