About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Hi Lucy,
Thank you so much for sharing your latest pattern with us. I, too, love wreaths and must find the time to make this one. It's so adorable.
My best to you,
(PS My photo of my Attic24 wip hexagon afghan made it to Flickr Explore Front Page. My most heart-felt thanks to you!!)

This is beautiful - and seems almost possible even for a beginner like me! I have bookmarked it for a quiet day or two later this week when I want to give it a try - or at least the flowers to start with :)

Thank you for being so inspiring!! Thank you!!

Thanks Lucy! It's so pretty, looking forward to giving it a go. :)

Hello Lucy, I've been an avid follower and admirer of yours, but haven't commented before. I just had to step up to tell you what a wonderful inspiration you are!

Absolutely love your blog, and your brilliant creativity!

Thank you for all that you share with us. That wreath is simply adorable ~ good job! ~Mari

Oooh this is just totally yummy!!
I've spent the past week or so making a version of your little birdies and now I'm going to have to try this piece of sheer loveliness too!!

Well that is just lovely! Now if only I could crochet!

Beautiful, great job Lucy!

Very nice! I have to say, I've been following you for a while, but only commented a couple of times. I love your blog! Today I went out and bought a nice green jug and some fresh flowers. You have inspired me. I can't put them too many places around, but I will try the dining room table. The pic is dark, but if you want to check
it out, it's at
Just want to say thanks for the bright spot in my day! Oh and I've visited many of the linky blogs you have, love them!

Well, where have I been? This is absolutely lovely! In my brain, wreaths were just perky green rounds for Christmas or (too often tacky) silk flowers. You have opened up a whole new world of colorful possibility! :)

Please, please, please stop posting such cute items!!! How can I possibly concentrate on completing my own projects if I am constantly running to my stash to make new, adorable, Lucy-inspired things? :)

How you ever found time to create this cheery wreath and then "tutorialize" it, I'll never know. You are too sweet!

Beautiful wreath, but like on of the other posters, I can't see the tutorial.
