Hello my friends :o)
As you can see from the above picture, this past week has been rather a busy one for us here at Attic24!
I'm very happy to tell you all that Bump24 has indeed landed, and we are now a family of five. Our little baby boy was born on Tuesday 5th January, weighing a healthy 7lb 12oz. He was delivered by cesaerean section 19 days early due to some sudden concern about our health, but thankfully we are both safe and well.
I'm sorry that I've not been able to keep you posted as I had intended, but things kind of bowled along rather rapidly out of my control last week. We came home from hospital on Friday and I'm so-so-so glad to be home! Still feeling a little fragile and very tired, but taking it slowly and enjoying getting to know my new little Teeny Man.
Thank you for all your concern and kind thoughts during my unexpected absence, and I promise to be back here in the Attic very soon to tell you more.
Love and hugs to you all

Hi Lucy,
So glad you are OK.
Congratulations to you and your family on the safe delivery of your new son. Hope the children like their baby brother.
I had both my children by unplanned C-section and it's a bit of a shock but you'll heal quicker than you think, mentally and physically.
Hope they all spoil you rotten for a while. Take things easy. I look forward to your posts when you can squeeze them in! Although it could be a couple of years I reckon :-)

Congratulations on your new little man! His little hand in the picture is destined to create great things...like his mom! Glad you are home safe and healthy and look forward to hearing more soon. God Bless!

Wheee! Congratulations! Do make sure you take time to recover- my 4th was an emergency c-section, and I seriously thought I was going to pick up and go on 2 weeks later. Give yourself 6 weeks or so, at least, what with the lost sleep and all that.

Oh my goodness Lucy, I was just popping in to see when your last post was. I was concerned because I hadn't seen anything from you for a week LOL and low and behold pops up a picture of the cutest wee hand.
Congratulations on your new family member. Lots of hugs and kisses
