About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Excellent news. Kept checking in and was getting a bit concerned.
There's no place like home...

I don't normally get clucky, but my womb just did a somersault and is now making a loud ticking sound.I have 3 already, so I know just what you are in for, congratulations and enjoy.

Hi Lucy,

So glad you are OK.

Congratulations to you and your family on the safe delivery of your new son. Hope the children like their baby brother.

I had both my children by unplanned C-section and it's a bit of a shock but you'll heal quicker than you think, mentally and physically.

Hope they all spoil you rotten for a while. Take things easy. I look forward to your posts when you can squeeze them in! Although it could be a couple of years I reckon :-)

Congratulations on your new little man! His little hand in the picture is destined to create great things...like his mom! Glad you are home safe and healthy and look forward to hearing more soon. God Bless!

Wheee! Congratulations! Do make sure you take time to recover- my 4th was an emergency c-section, and I seriously thought I was going to pick up and go on 2 weeks later. Give yourself 6 weeks or so, at least, what with the lost sleep and all that.

Congratulations! What wondeful news and an exciting start to the year.

Oh my goodness Lucy, I was just popping in to see when your last post was. I was concerned because I hadn't seen anything from you for a week LOL and low and behold pops up a picture of the cutest wee hand.

Congratulations on your new family member. Lots of hugs and kisses

Congratulations, Lucy & family! So glad to know all is well at Attic24. Be good to yourself through these tiring weeks to come, as you all settle in together. Much happiness to you!

Congratulations to you all, Lucy, I've been thinking of you lots and I'm so glad that you and baby are all ok.

Congratulations!! I am so glad to hear all is well and that you have a lovely new son to enjoy. My baby making days are over after 3 but the joy of a new baby, how wonderful for you all. Enjoy every moment & please do photograph all the little bits of him to keep. It was the best thing I did, nothing melts my heart quite like a piccie of teeny tiny toes. Wonderful news, am so pleased for you xxxxx

Congratulations, Lucy and family!

Don't fret about not posting...you have a family & life to take care of! We other people should be last on your priorities right now. :)
