About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Looking forward to seeing your latest project! Lovely flowers, one of my many favourites x

Not messy at all - you should come to mine if you want to see messy!

It just looks like a lovely, homely, creative environment!

And it's YOUR home, that's what matters most. x

Looking forward to reading more about your crafty plans. I prefer cosy clutter to mess, it sounds more intentional!
My finished blanket is up (at last) x

Your blanket is looking fantastic, and I can't wait to see your next projects, love the colours. I think your home looks lovely, nice and conducive to creative endeavors. Very excited to see what's next. You are always an inspiration.

Yay! for messy, chaotic, creative, colorful and happy! That is when all the best stuff happens!

Your living looks warm and lovely!

Well, I for one am LOVING the way it is. Thanks for the delightful colour fix Lucy. I can't see any mess!

Love the colours of the baby blanket and the colours of your other project are amazing, right up my street,I wish I could buy such lovely flowers at such reasonable prices, they cost an arm and a leg down here.Look forward to seeing more of your crafty ideas.

Sue xx

Can't wait to see your new projects ! the cot blanket is looking really good. By the way, where's the mess, I wish my sitting room was as tidy as yours.lol

Dear Lucy,
your attic always gives me need to create...

Nina - Tabiboo

It all looks jolly darn good to me Lucy despite the chaos though it's good your starting to detangle.

Love the look of your 'secret' projects,

Nina x

I love that new blanket - just right for us big babies too I think! It's the colours, the softness the whole smooziness of it really. It's really lovely isn't it? An ultra cuddly blanket it seems to me. I can imagine it as an illustration in a child's picture book.

Will love to see what else you are doing - I do like those little snippets you tease us with. Make us wait I say! (But when we do get to see there's more of it TO see, which is all good I think).

You are obviously having a busy and creative time. Hope you are enjoying it all.
P.S I really like your hearts garland strung across the room like that. What a warm and friendly room. Homes should have "stuff" in. Lots and lots of it!

Love the babyblanket and the sneeky peaks of the rest. Some cosy chaos I must say!

Anna x

All your projects looks yummy! And, swoon, dahlia's...are my favorite at this time of year.

It doesn't look messy, a house is a home not a picture book! Comfort is the key. I just love the colours in you blanket.

OOOOOOO Lucy you`re such a tease! Your home looks so homely which is what it should be. I keep looking out for Dahlias, yours are soo bright and cheerful.
Can`t wait for the next project reveal.
Love Carole xxxxxx

TWO new projects - A double tease! Can't wait to see what you're up to - and those dahlias are gorgeous! Glad the wobbles aren't so bad right now. Am trying to imagine you with Nesting instincts at full pelt - you are such a wonderful homemaker already!

Lucy ~ I am loving all the little projects that you have on the go ~ Thanks so much for the sneaky peaky. I am glad you are feeling less Wobbly today ~ I've had a very wobbly day myself and have spent a couple of hours in A&E and have now unfortunately got 4 staples holding my head together!!
I love the way it looks at Attic 24 ~ Messy, chaotic, creative, colourful and happy ~ the best kind of cosy home to have. :O)

I love those kind of weeks where there are just creative bubbles in the head that just can't waaiiiitttt to pop-up!
That Bump24 Blanket is going to be a bestliker (well... equivalent for bestseller :P ) it's coming out great!
