This week has been such a busy, bustly, creative, exciting sort of a week for me.
Nothing momentous, just lots and lots of ideas and plans and creations beginning to slowly emerge from the ric-rac Tangle of my mind.
The Wobbles are less wobbly today than they were at the beginning of the week too. Pheww.
A lovely few hours was spent at the cafe this morning, hooking away with my lovely knit-and-natter ladies. I had to stop my crocheting mid-round (how I hate having to do that!) as time ran away with me and it was suddenly time to leave...so as soon as I got home, I settled on the sofa and finished off the square I was working on.
Thought you might like to see progress of the Baby Granny Blanket so far.........
Twenty-one squares, and I am LOV-ing-IT.
I've also been working on something new this week....above is a little sneak-peak of it, I'll show the rest very soon. I am LOV-ing-THAT too.
Today I purchased some soft embroidery cottons for yet another idea/project that just HAS to come out of the Tangle and into reality before it drives me mad. I woke up in the early hours thinking about this idea and knew I HAD to start it today. And yes, I am LOV-ing-THAT as well.
Can't wait to show you my new projects, ooohhhhh I am having such Creative Fun with myself this week!!!
Two bunches of Dahlias are in the house this week too, not one but two.
I could not resist buying two bunches (they were £1.50 each), bringing hot pink and bright red flowers together to sing out loud in a jug on my table.
And finally, a snap of my chaotic downstairs living space, the Way It Is today.
The back end of the room (the dining area) is in quite a terrible mess as you can see....but plans are afoot to begin a big sort out. I am beginning to succumb to the overwhelming Nesting Instincts of pregnancy, and am feeling optimistic that it will be a Good Thing.
So that's the Way It is at Attic24 today.
Messy, chaotic, creative, colourful, happy.
xxxxxxxxxx

Not messy ...just a happy, comfortable lived in
home:-) Who wants to live in a show house anyway.
Looking forward to seeing the new projects.
Take care,
Alison.

I love that new blanket - just right for us big babies too I think! It's the colours, the softness the whole smooziness of it really. It's really lovely isn't it? An ultra cuddly blanket it seems to me. I can imagine it as an illustration in a child's picture book.
Will love to see what else you are doing - I do like those little snippets you tease us with. Make us wait I say! (But when we do get to see there's more of it TO see, which is all good I think).
You are obviously having a busy and creative time. Hope you are enjoying it all.
P.S I really like your hearts garland strung across the room like that. What a warm and friendly room. Homes should have "stuff" in. Lots and lots of it!

Love the babyblanket and the sneeky peaks of the rest. Some cosy chaos I must say!

It doesn't look messy, a house is a home not a picture book! Comfort is the key. I just love the colours in you blanket.

Lucy ~ I am loving all the little projects that you have on the go ~ Thanks so much for the sneaky peaky. I am glad you are feeling less Wobbly today ~ I've had a very wobbly day myself and have spent a couple of hours in A&E and have now unfortunately got 4 staples holding my head together!!
