Hello!!! A very quick blast of colourful Visual Eyecandy from me today :: I realised yesterday when we were chatting about calenders and month by month what-nots, that I'd gotten a little behind with my own monthly mosaics. So I spent a little while yesterday evening putting the Summer ones together to share with you, I hope you enjoy them. Please do feel free to clickety-click on the images to pop them up a bit bigger if you like, then you'll get the full-on Attic24 Colour-blast.
You can find all of my Monthly Mosaics in a little photo album across there to the left in the sidebar, should you wish to have a look. Of course you don't have to, but they are there if you ever feel the need for a colour fix. Sort of like pages in a particularly colourful book, you might just appreciate them in small doses from time to time.
Also, whilst still on the subject of monthly what-nots, can I just let you know that the November issue of Prima magazine contains this rather fabulous free 2010 calendar. The images are really lovely I think, and definitely worth the £2.70 cost of the mag. Thanks so much to Jacqui who told me about this yesterday, I really appreciated that xx.
Have a fabulous weekend everyone, make sure you take some time to enjoy life's little pleasures......have fun, see you next week..xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The colours are fab! Brightening up an otherwise dull day in Belfast!

your bright ghan with the little squares has inspired me, either to join my bright "friendship squares" with a bright color instead of the black I was thinking of, or start a new one with my scraps :>)
Thank you for sharing!!

Ahhh how I've missed your mosaics - love them so much. But what a treat to get four together! Good timing as we go into Autumn to look back on the summer colours. The September one really shows summer into Autumn - gorgeous! Have a lovely weekend.

Lovely colours! Very inspiring. Whenever I look at your blog I think that it's time to start making crochet blankets, but there's always something else in the way... have to finish 2 jumpers before I can start something new...

And, while we are on the subject of mag freebies, Easy Living are giving away a rather smart tea towel this month. My one has lemons on!

Thanks for the shot of color this morning. I certainly could use it. It's dark and damp here and I'm suffering from the lurgy, so your color hit the spot! I am amazed I haven't found your blog 'till now. What beautiful inspiration, thank you.

Greetings from northeast Pennsylvania on a lovely Fall day...Nature is starting to paint the trees and already some of the reds are glorious.. Dear sweet Lucy... your pics are so pretty, as usual. You should do an Attic 24 calendar!! I started to wind wool today for a new project (a warm lap blanket for my husband...winters can get really cold here.) I have to confess...it is shades of brown!! I used to spin wool and I love the natural undyed unprocessed wool...full of the smell of lanolin and so sheepy. I'm using Cascade Ecological wool...it is a dream. Almost as soft as merino. The colors range from natural to a deep brown...really very lovely and a challenge to one's creativity. I do have another more colorful granny project I am also working on, so I still feel connected to the Attic!! Hope you are feeling cheery today. Love...Emily V.

Fab calendar - I'll be popping out after work to pick this one up. Thanks for letting us know about it.
Fab colourful mosaics too!Have you thought of publishing your own calendar and/or cards. They'd be great and I'm sure they'd be popular.
Have a lovely weekend! Sending some sun in your direction! x
PS: I think I tempted fate with my comment yesterday - I ended up wearing my coat to work today. :0( x

Lovely photos as usual Lucy. It`s my birthday in October as well, mine`s the 10th. Both Libran`s! I can`t wait to see your crocheted fingerless gloves.
Have a fab family weekend. If it`s anything like the weather here in Rossendale, windy & wet!, it will be in front of the fire with hot drinks and plenty of hooky. Ha ha!

Hello! Just discovered your blog, and love it. Lurking on loads of blogs - but never comment. Somehow yours just hit a nerve! We must be quite close too, I'm in County Durham, which is odd when so much of what I read is from people in the USA or Canada or Australia. I love the crochet - never been a big fan, but yours are just something else! Amazing. I will definitely have a go when I have my current 99 projects done! Well, at least some of them!
