About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married, stay at home Mum with three young children. We live in a 100year old Victorian house in the North of England which we are slowly renovating, and here I spend my days :: mothering, decorating, crocheting, baking, sewing, crafting and gardening. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world. xxxx

Awesome cushion! Everytime I think I've found my favorite project on your site, you publish another that's even better. Thanks for it all. I haven't been so inspired in quite a while!

Hi Lucy!!
I'm pretty new to crochet! More of a knitting girl really but was soooo inspired by your fabulously colourful crochet work that I perservered with my attempts and downloaded your tutorial on making the granny squares. They are coming along very nicely indeed! I love your new cushion - it's beautiful and thanks for the tutorial. I have a wee question for you though?!! I just wondered how you make the crochet squares that you have used for the cushion?!! Maybe I missed it on your blog? Or maybe I'm being a bit dim??!!
Cheerio,

hi lucy
love the colours - as a new crocheter(is that a word?) can you tell us what yarn you use? i'm not a knitter so have limited experience with all the different yarns - at the moment it's trial and error which can be quite costly!! love gill

Lucy -- A friend told me about your blog and I love it. I can not tell you as a person in the " autumn " days of my life appreciates someone in the Summer days!"" of her life is energised by what I have loved for so long. I would love you to have a peep at my life and its too-ings and fro-ings @

Dear Lucy:
Another wonderful project created by you! It is perfect.Would you tell me what you line the front of the cushion with. I can see blue through the little squares. Is that the color of the cushion itself?
