About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married, stay at home Mum with three young children. We live in a 100year old Victorian house in the North of England which we are slowly renovating, and here I spend my days :: mothering, decorating, crocheting, baking, sewing, crafting and gardening. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world. xxxx

Just when I think your posts cannot get any better than they already are, they do! Apart from the wonderful colours that you choose, it is your cheerful personality that comes through your post, a vital ingredient for making others feel cheerful too. I don't know you but I imagine you to be a positive and happy person.

Isabelle.

Lucy ~ I love those pictures of all your colourful crochet cushions and blankets all piled up high ~ that in its self is an inspiration! I have popped on over to the Flickr group for a little look at all the beautiful things that other very talented hooky people have added and have indeed taken the liberty of adding a couple of very modest photos myself! You are such an inspiration to such a lot of people and I am so sure that I am not alone in saying that! Thank you so very much for sharing your wonderfully colourful world ~ it always brightens my day :O)

Flickr is awesome - I've only been joined up for about a week but I've used it for inspiration for longer. I love it! It's so exciting that people want to see my photos, getting a comment is just as exciting as getting a blog comment. hurrah! It's keeping me a bit entertained in my rather bored and poorly state.

Soooooo many people are inspired by all your patterns, projects, blankets and blog posts and it's great to see just HOW many attic24 projects there are out there in this group. I love it :D

How exciting! Certainly about time we had a Flickr group for the loveliness you inspire Lucy.

Love the photofest today. All those yummy hooky colours- just the remedy against a very dull September day.

Excellent, just what I need, more places to while away the hours instead of doing the ironing, washing, cleaning, running, sleeping!

Linda Kristin

Amazing colours in your photos, as always. If I get around to it, I'll post a photo of my attic24 inspired granny blanket on Flickr.

The Garden Bell - Kate

Thanks for all you loven'. I was wondering why my comments jumped so quickly. Ickes. This could be fun. But, I'm soaking up every minute of this..he-he... You are the best. I absolutely understand how you feel, but you know what.....that's why we all are hanging out with you in blogland. Your soul brightens our day. TRULY.

So come on over everyone and feel the love. Also, start posting to the new Attic24 inspired group. Even WIPs as we need to show our appreciation for all she has given us. I'm even more thrilled that she's not one bite in charge of managing this. Now it's our turn to payback....

Sending big hugs to all,

The Garden Bell - Kate

Lucy - was walking around our house today and wondering what was wrong - i decided that there is not enough colour in it and am working at a rate of knots to try to make it a little more cheerful - just like yours
