About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

I know the feeling , the exitement of starting with a fresh pile of yarn.
Yes ! it is like some delicious food for the soul .

ooohh, love the orange!! and when I get new yarn, I tend to carry it around with me for a few days too, just so we can get to know each other better LOL!

In my LYS last week, overheard a customer tell the assistant she did not need help, but wanted to sniff the wool. The lovely assistant smiled and nodded knowingly, as did my friend and I. We thought it was our own secret quirk, but now we know we are not alone. Wonderful colours and crochety post today. X

You sound whole again Lucy. Life is as it should be now you have wool again. Can't wait to see the finished blankie.

Oh what lovely colours - cannot wait to see the completed throw

I LOVE the smell of wool, all sheepy (and silk, it's not a plesant smell but I enjoy it). I find smell of balls of wool mixes well with earl grey tea... Just smells crafty to me! Glad to see you back to form :) Happy crochet. xxx

So glad to know that I am not the only one who sniffs wool!

I'm so glad you've got your wool - my LYS has just got loads of new stock in and I'm forcing myself to just keep going and not go in every time I walk past - sooo hard

What fun ~ a color filled yarn bag :) Am excited to watch the progress of the blankie!
So enjoy your blog :)
Have a Happy Day :)
