About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Hello Lucy,
Im a brand new visitor to your blog, just today i found you:)I have enjoyed a time just sitting here feasting my eyes on your amazing colours but i need to ask a question please if i may? (and i must comment on the procrastinating and not doing what we feel we should be doing but doing what we want to be doing....isnt that the most fun bit:) well i hear you girlfriend LOL

In your May 14 post you have some of the most adorable crochet flowers....im trying to find them on your blog...do you have a pattern for them posted somewhere?
I would love to have a go at them.

Im currently in the thoughts of doing a granny square blanket, and i want to have a go at patchwork too.
Your blog is amazing in all the colours that you have in it.

I have added you to my bloglines and will be popping back for sure:)

Thankyou for sharing your love of wool and colour:)

I just found your blog and am so glad I did. Your life is so full of color, how wonderful! I love your Big Blankie. It's gorgeous and vibrant.

Hi Lucy,

Your blankets are all so beautiful! Are you joining-as-you-go on this one?

Wonderful Blankie! So glad you have found a new love to make you happy. I love your choice of colours and the way you have arranged them in fours.

Cheerful One

Big Blankie is fab. I also love your yarn bag. Did you use a pattern for that? I have a stash of rainbow yarn sitting under the sofa which I suddenly realise ought to be a bag...

Really lovely !!!

That blanket is just fab! I have just learned to crochet, you are such an inspiration. Thank you!

Grin.. looking good. You are right much better with no white. I need to do something in lovely zingy colours like that !

taking the white out was the best idea----but as otheres have said ---as much as I love blankie my heart still loves the ripple Australia

How BIG is BB?? I love the photo with your sleeve in it--if you'd managed a photo with the stripey sleeve, the stripey afghan and BB, I might have felt I was on a real color-drugged out trip (in the old LSD use of trip)..... wow! Karen

big blankie is lovely, I completely understand the love affair!

Can totally understand why your now in love!
