About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married, stay at home Mum with three young children. We live in a 100year old Victorian house in the North of England which we are slowly renovating, and here I spend my days :: mothering, decorating, crocheting, baking, sewing, crafting and gardening. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world. xxxx

Hi ..i just have to tell you i have made your --bag -- and its fab and i never dreamt it would be so big i am going to line it with some gingham or Cath Kidston if i have enough .and also i have lined the handles with webbing to stop stretching ..i started last Thursday and finished Monday evening i went to Tavistock and whilst in the market there i had several comments from traders so yes i adore it !!...Kieren x

I am loving today too! The sun has been shining and I have been outside digging the garden! I love the cake wrapped in old fashioned wax paper - much better than kitchen roll or foil! The book looks interesting as does your colourful crochet!

What lovely photgraphs! I too love Bolton Abbey. We go when we pop up to my sister-in-laws. I am just about to make a lemon drizzle cake for friends who are coming for tea on Sunday.

Nandini

Lovely!!! Thats the word stuck in my head after reading through the whole blog!!! What a riot of colours :)
I came across your blog just yesterday in the hexagon love pool!! Thanks for your hexagon tutorial.. makes me want to try them, ohhhh.. only if my little one slept :) Dont have the patience to make a blanket though.. must think of something!!
Had a question.. How do you block the hexagons if they are joined on the go? Do we have to block individual hexagons and then join them then? Your answer would be very helpful.. thankyou for the awesome inspiration :)
Love you, Nandini
