About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married, stay at home Mum with three young children. We live in a 100year old Victorian house in the North of England which we are slowly renovating, and here I spend my days :: mothering, decorating, crocheting, baking, sewing, crafting and gardening. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world. xxxx

I LOVE the crochet-ness coming from Attic24 at the moment! (not to say that I don't love it always regardless....) Thank you SO much for bag and hexagons alike - both are greatly appreciated. :)

It's looking a bit better this morning so I plan to make some more today..hooray for being signed off!! I've really got the crocheting bug after seeing your post this week but I should be making Christmas gifts!! Thanks for sharing the bag - I'm going to try this in the new year. I'm looking forward to the flowers next week as I plan to make some to go on gifts. Keep up the good work!!!! XX

Hope you enjoyed your knit and natter. Whilst you were there I was at my art class, painting and drinking coffee and I also get a buzz out of Thursday mornings for the same reason! I really like the bag. I think I may tackle this rather than the hexagons. I hate joining things together!!!

Alex

OOOhhhh more things to make with a crochet hook and some scrummy wool.... thank you for all the info you are a star!

Georganna

Oh thanks so much for the pattern! I really need a bag for wagging around my knitting and crochet and haven't been able to find any I like, so I'm making one like yours asap.

I want to come to Knit and Natter too! I really do! I have quite a bit of leftover yarn from my ripple blankets so maybe I will try making your bag. I really love the homey and cozy look. Thank you for sharing your pattern, Lucy. And may I say, you look very cute today in your outfit.

Hen

Hi Lucy.
I was talking about you at my crochet class on Tuesday as I took my jampot cover in. I managed to get photos of your hexagons and the bag up on my iphone and we are gagging to have a go!
You're a crochet star! Hope you enjoyed your day. Wish I was not miles away so I could join in.

Merci beaucoup for the pattern. Have a good day.

Despite not being able to crochet I love the amount of crochet talk this week. Just admiring all your crochet is nearly as good as being able to crochet myself. Well, nearly. It's making me want to crochet anyway. Hope you enjoyed your Thursday crochet session.

Danette

Wow, thanks for all the how-tos. I have been admiring your bags in many of your photos.

Can't wait to try it out.

Thanks for sharing.

Lace hearts

That's fantastic of you to do that - I know that must have taken a long time. I'm planning to try and make one, once I've finished my crochet blanket! I love the picture of you pre dashing out.

mandy

I have enjoyed all the crochet this week, well done you for doing all that! I am still doing granny squares, and look forward to learning how to do the flowers, when you have the time of course, I think I could manage some of those to add to some little gifts, they would look pretty. hope you enjoyed the morning at knit and natter :)

Ali

Oh the gorgeousness. I really must learn to crochet.

Tami

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
